Mark Steven Dunsmore, age 53, of Elkton, MD passed away July 14, 2019. He was born on April 5, 1966 in Jefferson City, TN to Linda Ann Bradley and the late Lloyd Dale Dunsmore.

Mark served in the U.S. Army from 1988 to 1993 as an Army Ranger. He participated in the U.S. invasion of Panama, co-named Operation Just Cause, which occurred during mid December 1989 and late January 1990. Most recently, Mark was the Senior Manager of Product Development Operations for Bond Pro Surety located in Tampa, FL. He enjoyed photography and computer gaming.

Mark is survived by his mother, Linda Bradley of Elkton, MD; daughter, Linda Marie Dunsmore of South Korea; his significant other and soul mate, Jill Hagelin of Elkton, MD; step-son, Jon Erik Hagelin of Norristown, PA; and several cousins. In addition to Mark’s father, he is preceded in death by his brother, David Edward Dunsmore.

A viewing for Mark Steven Dunsmore will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2019 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921. The celebration of Mark’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Elkton Presbyterian Church, 209 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921. Family and friends are being called to visit on Saturday at church starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at a later date in Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Cecil County SPCA” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home.
