Linda Lee West of Elkton, MD, age 66, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019. She was born on June 6, 1952 in Wilmington, DE to the late Vernon Clifford West, Sr. and Henrietta (Leithren) West.
Linda was a longtime employee of, and retired from W.L. Gore. She was a private pilot for 20 years and was a member of the 99s, a women’s pilot association. Linda was a scuba instructor for 10 years, and taught in the Havre de Grace area. An artistic person, she enjoyed doing screen printing and painting.
Linda is survived by her brother, Richard West as well as several cousins. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her two brothers: Clifford Vernon West and Phillip Ray West.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Kemblesville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
