Kenneth “Kenny” Allan Archer of North East, MD, age 56, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017. He was born in Massillon, OH on June 23, 1960 to Donald Archer and the late Faith (Emmerich) Archer.

Kenny attended Union City Tech in Union, NJ and Diesel Trade school for four years. He was the “family mechanic” and enjoyed working on boats. Kenny was an avid boater and lived his life on the water. He loved the outdoors, fishing, water skiing, motorsports, and racing his dirt bike through the woods. “Uncle Kenny” was the “cool uncle” and a great joy to all of his family.

Kenny is survived by his son, Kenneth A. Archer, Jr. and his wife Courtney, father, Donald Archer, sister, Donna Holmes, brother, Donald Briggs Archer, three grandchildren: Robert Ritrovato, Emmerson Archer, and Bridget Archer, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, Faith E. Archer, Kenny was preceded in death by his sister, Vickie Snyder, and nephew, Dennis Reynolds, Jr.

A memorial service in Kenny’s honor will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 1PM at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911. Family and friends may begin visiting at 12PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made payable to “Donald Archer” and sent in care of the funeral home.
