Joseph Lee Gault, Sr. age, 61 of Rising Sun, MD passed away on March 4, 2019. He was born on June 5, 1957 in Columbus, OH to the late Levonda and Rolla Gault.

Joseph was employed as a heavy equipment operator at Mason Dixon Sand and Gravel, Port Deposit, for 15 years. He also worked as a mechanic for Hertz Rent-A-Car, Philadelphia Airport, for 27 years. Joseph was adventurous and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, being out on his boat, and scoping out local yard sales. He was a former member of a motorcycle ministry, Bikers for Christ. He was a dedicated member of Iron Faith Fellowship church in Wilmington, DE. Joseph was not materialistic and understood what was really important in life, which is his family. He loved and adored his wife and best friend, Wenda and he cherished his children and always put them first.

Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Wenda (Short) Gault; his children, Nicole (Bert) Skarren, Joanne Gault, and Kristen (Chris) Rohrer;

Joseph (Carlee) Gault Jr. and Christopher (Brittany) Gault; siblings, William (Debbie) Gault, Robert Gault; Suzanne (Bart) Malatesta and four grandchildren: Makayla, Julianna, Lane, and Legend.

Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects on Saturday, March 16th 10:00 a.m at Iron Faith Fellowship Church 801 Darley Rd, Wilmington, DE 19810. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made in Joe’s name to the American Cancer Society.
