I use to work with Jack At Gore for at least 6 years in the Pump Diaphragm department. He helped in the process of making a material that was called 2JF. It stood for two Jacks and a Fred.I believe they are still making that material.

Terry and Sandra Sykes left a message on December 22, 2013:
I met Jack when I first moved here from TX. He was doing the traditions play and I would call him by his stage name for the next 4 years. Who would have thought that Sandra would be making weekly visits out to see Carol for these last 3 years. Jack always welcomed her with a hug. We thank God for the people He places in our lives that are forever imprinted on our hearts. Prayers of comfort during these times in Jesus name. Love always Sandra, Terry, and Alan.

Carol and Family, There is not enough room her to write all the good things that Jack brought to my life. He was my friend and mentor for 10 years. When I think of Jack I think of his ornery smile and laugh and of course his hugs. What can you say about a man who loved me when I could not love myself, taught me to love myself and then how to love others? He showed me what a good husband was all about and most importantly how to me a man of the Spirit. He had a way of telling me hard truths that helped me to grow into the man I always wanted to be. Jack would never let me put him up on a pedestal, but now that he is gone and can't "right size" me, I will tell you that this man was my hero. I am so grateful that God gave me Jack for the time he did and I will most certainly pay forward everything he did for me as my way honoring him. He would have it no other way.

Jack was one of the friendliest, most loving, best hugging people I have every known. He was always full of smiles and warm greetings whenever we saw him. We got to know both he and Carol through a fellowship that has saved many lives including his, and my late husband, Victor. The world was a better place because Jack was in it and I know he will be missed by so many here on Earth, but I also know he is in a much better place and safe and secure with many friends around him. Rest in peace, Jack. We love you and will be there for Carol and many of us will circle the wagons and help her and the rest of your family through the days ahead.

Jack & Carol became friends of ours in 1984. While we lived in Cecil County they were constant companions, always there to lend a hand or just have a good time. Jack was very helpful to Kent, my husband as he worked toward a new spiritual approach to his life. He will be greatly missed.

Jack was a wonderful friend, a caring and loving individual, although not when we first met him, his was miserable at first, but the more we got to know him the more we loved him. We traveled with he and Carol at lot the early years of our sobriety and had many , many good times, laughter and some tears. We would never have made it to where we are today without the friendship and support. We will miss him terribly but know he's in that big meeting in the sky. God bless you, Carol and your family. There is a hole in the world tonight!
