John C. Hash of West Grove, PA, age 73, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020. He was born in West Grove, PA on September 15, 1947 to the late John Hash and Jean Walker.
John attended Kennett High School. He enjoyed reading and spending time outdoors; often going hiking or spending time at the beach in Rehoboth and Ocean City. John loved to experiment with his cooking, making new spicy foods for his family to try. A people person, he was fun loving and very social. John found his greatest pleasure in spending time with his family, visiting Oregon to see his son, or playing with them as children. He will be remembered as a wonderful father with a big heart.
John is survived by his beloved wife, together for 56 years, Pat Hash; two sons: John David Hash and his wife, Nicole and Jonathan Robert Hash and his wife, Amanda; grandson Max Baines and sister, Debbie Mize.
A celebration of John’s life will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911, where family and friends may begin visiting at 11:00 am.

Pat, John and Jonathan, I'm so sorry to hear about John. We were neighbors in two different locations in Kennett once when we were kids in the early 1960's and then again in the early 1970's.
