Joan Hildred Colley of Derwood, MD, age 86, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020. She was born on July 10, 1933 in Stamford, CT to the late John Smith and Willa Mae (Holmes) Smith.
Joan enjoyed going on long drives and collecting things. She shared her love of cats and watching the Redskins with her nephew, “Anthony”. Joan will most be remembered for her generous and loving nature.
Joan is survived by her nephew, Edward “Anthony” Morris and many great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her twin sister, Jean Smith; brother, Bubba Smith; and niece, Gail Armwood.
Services for Joan will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
