Jeffra Moore, 70, of Chesapeake City, MD passed away peacefully on August 11, 2016. Born on March 1, 1946 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late James Norris and Nancy (Myerly) Cavanaugh.
Jeffra was employed as a licensed practical nurse in the health care profession, and then went on to be a travel agent with Hill’s Travel Agency in North East, MD. She greatly enjoyed watching the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens games as well as going to the beach and cruising with her husband.
Jeffra is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Eugene Moore of Chesapeake City, MD; son, Pat Moore of Chesapeake City, MD, daughter, Carla Pleasanton of Chesapeake City, MD; half-sister, Stephanie Urban of Railroad, PA; granddaughter, Megan Myerly Pleasanton; and her beloved cat, Willy.
A celebration of Jeffra’s life will be held at 11am on Monday, August 22, 2016 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 318 George Street, Chesapeake City, MD 21915, where friends and family may visit beginning at 10am. Burial will held privately at the convenience of the family.
