He thoroughly enjoyed the 20 years he worked as an archaeologist for KCI. He spent his weekends hunting, fishing, and bicycling.
James is survived by his siblings: John Skocik and his wife Gail, Regina Skocik, Matthew Skocik, and Stephen Skocik. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his sister, Cathy DiMauro.
Services for James will be held privately.
