James Rudolph Sumner, 76, of North East, MD, passed away September 21, 2014 at Genesis Elkton Center.
Born in Roanoke, VA on October 31, 1937, James was the son of the late James Braxton and Sue Fannie Ripley Sumner. He was a hard worker and was employed as a truck driver. He will be dearly missed by his family.
He is survived by his devoted wife of over 52 years, Dana Dale Sumner; a son Jimmy Wayne Sumner; and two daughters, Zona Arthur and Zana McClure, as well as six grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.
