


























James Edmond Craft, Sr., 83, of Port Deposit, MD passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015.
Born May 10, 1932 in Rocks, MD, Jim was the son of the late Bert and Marie (Holbrook) Craft. Jim owned and operated the Chuck House restaurant from 1988 to 1992. He enjoyed being outdoors surrounded by nature, especially walking through the woods with his beloved dogs. He was a gifted artiest and enjoyed bringing beauty to the world as expressed through his works. He was very knowledgeable of the Bible, astrology, astronomy, and our universe. He wrote very beautiful love notes in every card his wife ever received from him. Jim was a very caring person, especially regarding creatures that could not help themselves. From your hairy kids; Comet, your Daddy is with you; Missy and Tigger miss you very much.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 35 wonderfully interesting years, Eileen Craft; two sons, James E. Craft, Jr. and Scott Craft; two step-daughters, Tereasa Wright and Kelly Barton; 18 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, 2 sisters; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be held from 2 to 4pm Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Hopewell United Methodist Church, 1811 Hopewell Rd, Port Deposit, MD 21904. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to your local “no-kill” animal shelter and sent in care to R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 E. Main St., Elkton, MD 21921.
