James “Jim” C.C. Barnes, Sr., age 78, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. He was born in Havre De Grace, MD on August 7, 1942 to the late James Christopher Barnes and Adelaide (Currier) Barnes.
Jim was an incredible salesman owning many businesses. He owned Truck Tire America working and operating, side by side with his son and wife. Jim had a passion for boating, restoring old cars, and traveling with his wife, Susan. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Jim is survived by his wife, Susan L. Perry Barnes of Middletown, DE; two sons: James “Jamie” Barnes, Jr. and his wife, Sara of Warwick, MD and Roger Matthew Perry and his wife, Kim of Newark, DE; daughter, Holly Millon St. Claire and her husband, Max of Jupiter, FL; six grandchildren: Allison Barnes, Cameron Barnes, Stephen Worsley, Rachel Millon St. Claire, Kirsten Millon St. Claire, Taylor Perry, and Jessica Perry; and sister, Sue Weaver of Huntsville, NC.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
