Harry Joseph Laird, age 65, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Select Specialty Hospital at St. Francis in Wilmington, DE. He was born on July 18, 1949 in Norwood, PA to the late John and Elizabeth Ayres Laird.
He worked all his life as an auto mechanic and had a fondness for older model corvettes. Harry loved his pet birds and kept several beautiful species. An avid and loyal Eagles and Phillies fan, he stuck with his teams through the good and the bad.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, of Elkton, MD; his daughter Dawn Laird, of Elkton, MD; sisters, Jacki McGowan and her husband John of Prospect Park, PA, and Tammy Beaumont and her husband Anthony of Essington, PA; and best friend John Wren of North East, MD.
