Harry Hugh Felsburg, Jr., age 74, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Christiana Care in Newark, DE. He was born on June 16, 1943, in Wilmington, DE to the late Harry H. Felsburg, Sr., and Mary Jane (Rose) McIntosh.

Harry attended De La Warr High School in New Castle. He served in the National Guard from 1960 – 1963 and served as active Army in Vietnam from 1968-1970. He worked as a barber at various establishments throughout the area, since 1972.

He is survived by his long-term partner Roseann Hayes, sisters Irene Wolfe, Alicia Martin, and Beverly Hall, granddaughter Jessica Felsburg, his daughter K. Elaine Hoffman, grandsons Brandon Wallace, Christopher Wallace and great-granddaughter Sophia Wallace. Nieces: Grace Dawson, Lori Dawson, Renee Thomas, Crystal Wanstall, Amber Murphy, Petra Myers, Wanda Paris and nephews: James Biscoe, Joseph Martin, Anthony Ash, Nicholas Ash and a large extended family that loved him dearly.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his son, Joseph L. Felsburg and brother Anthony Charnik.

Service will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, March 9, 2018, at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, Inc., 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711. Harry , I can't believe it's been a month today that you went to Heaven . I know that I've tried to call you the past few weeks like I always did , LOL . but I hang up . and cry like a baby , I just want to say that you will truly be missed , I always enjoyed our conversations, about the weather or everything in gender . We have spent many years together going to mass , and breakfast after , dinners at the house with family and you'd find more eggs at Easter than my boys LOL , Meals with Joe and all the fun times , I always made sure when I came home to visit we'd meet for breakfast at Crossroads and share a smoke outside , LOl Looking back at the pictures you always wore the same Red denim shirt to breakfast , so I made sure you were buried in it and of course your converse sneaks . Iam missing you Big Brother , just as everyone else in the family , I know how that went Haha , They were Never around until !!??? We know the truth .

I am remembering today. I wish there was more we could do for you, Uncle Harry. It was just your time I suppose. You were such a strong mentor in my life. Remember planting all the seeds in Canby Park? I will never forget helping you read and study through private flight school. You are an inspiration. We all miss you. Love you, Renee.
