Frederick Charles Beffer, Jr., age 54, of Rising Sun, MD, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022. He was born on May 1, 1968 to Bernadine (Kuczynski) Beffer and the late Frederick Charles Beffer, Sr.

Fred was retired and loved being outdoors, especially out on the water on his Viking Sport Fish boat the “Laffin Loon.” Fred’s greatest joy of all was spending time with his family. He had a smile that was contagious and could light up a room. Fred was a very humble and personable guy, who touched many people. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Fred is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Lorraine (Schulz) Beffer, and was the devoted father of his two children, Shane and Karle. He is also survived by his mother, Bernadine Beffer; his sister Vanessa (Mark) Clements; his nephew and niece (Godchildren), Parker Clements and Kim Clements; his mother-in-law Elaine Schulz; his in-laws Doreen (Joe) Bradford; Carl (Jackie) Schulz; Eric (Annamarie) Schulz; his nieces and nephews, Michelle, Janeen, Joseph, Carl, Rian, Eric, Glenn, and Danica; and his great-nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his cherished dogs, Dixie, Daisy, Winston and Xoe.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911 where family and friends may begin visiting at 1:00 pm. Burial will be held private. To send online condolences please visit, www.rtfoard.com.
