Francis Joseph Fraticelli Sr.

November 6, 1947 - July 20, 2025

Francis will be remembered as a goofball with a funny, sarcastic charm and wit. He enjoyed reruns of Law and Order, Food Network, and was a diehard Phillies and Eagles fan. In Franny’s world, chocolate chip cookies are great, peanut butter is for celery only, Olive Garden is its own food group, and the Beachboys are a classic!

Francis is survived by his three children: Brian Fraticelli, Gina Fraticelli, and Francis (Joe) Fraticelli, Jr. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Janine Fraticelli and two sisters; Gloria Fraticelli Stone and Maryann Fraticelli Ballas.

Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers please send treats and gifts to the staff and residents of Autumn Lake at Calvert Nursing Home.

Brian, Gina and Joey. I worked directly with Franny from 2004 until he retired. I saw him on occasion in the years after he retired. Many good times and laughs. I also knew of your mothers' Linda and Janine when they worked at DuPont. Franny was always talking about Brian and his volleyball teams over the years at Charter school. He was happy about Gina progressing with her nursing achievements. Talking about Joey's musical interests taking up the drums. I've met Joey while on his security rounds at Chestnut Run, stopping in to see his dad! He also talked often of his sisters. I'm very sorry for your loss, but take comfort that he was proud of all of you! Franny was indeed a character, and I'm glad to have been able to know him as my friend.

I haven't seen Fran for many years, but I remember him as a guy with a great sense of humor. His parents Uncle Nello and Aunt Rose were wonderful people as were Marianne and Gloria. RIP and my deepest sympathy to the family.
