Ethel L. (Jackie) Cochran, 94, of Newark, DE, passed away December 4, 2014 at Renaissance Healthcare in Millsboro, DE.
Born in Elkton, MD on August 1, 1920, Jackie was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ive Scott Brannan. She was proud of her time caring for the soldiers in World War II when she served as a volunteer aide. She supported herself after her husband died as a self employed seamstress from 1977 until 2003.
She is survived by her daughter Constance Aikin and her grandchildren Scott W. Cochran, Todd A. Cochran and Ginger Aikin. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond G. Cochran and her son, William C. Cochran.
Services and interment will be private.
