So sorry to hear this sad news I enjoyed working with Ellis at Cameron's. His wit and laughter were contagious! I was the subject of several of his cartoons. I enjoyed talking with him after we both left there, proud to call him a friend. My wife and I cherish our Canadian goose artwork he gave us. I lost touch with Ellis after I moved to Tennessee but his memory will always be with me.

I remember Ellis from early 1960s on Day Rd. He was instrumental in my archery and hunting skills. Nice man, nice family. So sorry,

Very sorry to hear this. I worked for Ellis while stationed at Aberdeen Proving Ground as a member of the Game Warden Section of the 523 Military Police Company in 1966-67. I learned a lot from him while I was stationed there and he was a great boss. My Condolences to Tracy and Robin who were little girls when I was stationed there.

it was a blessing to have met and become friends with Ellis at a time in my life where birding was becoming an obsession. He took time to take me on field trips. His art adorns my home...
