Elizabeth M. (Libby) Bailey, 70, of Parma Heights, OH, passed away March 30, 2012 at Governor Bacon Health Center.

Born in Daniels, WV on November 30, 1941, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Woodrow J. and Panzie Mitchem Bailey. She was a legal secretary in Ohio and Arizona.

She is survived by her brother Mack R. Bailey and his wife Roberta J. of Earleville, MD; sister in law Mildred Tyree-Shrewsbury of Newark, DE, nieces Terri S. Tyree-Hayes of Virginia City, NV, Loetha D. Tyree of Wilmington, DE, Maryland E. Tyree of Glendale, AZ and Vanessa C. Cook of Atlanta, GA; 12 great nieces and nephews and nine great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Truman Tyree.

A service honoring her life will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 318 George St., Chesapeake City, MD 21915 on Tuesday April 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family may call at the funeral home beginning at 1:00. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.

Grandma Bailey, I'm sad that I only got to know you for a short time. I still think all the time about you & my fondest memory of you was how tickled you were when my mother found you and you found out you had two granddaughters. I still keep the letters you wrote to me. I think about you often and wish I could have told you that I loved you one last time. I wish I could tell you so many things, such as the fact that you have a gorgeous great granddaughter named Brynnley. She was born in May of 2011 and she is 3 and 1/2 now. I wish you could have met her because she would have loved you. As it is currently December 8th as I am writing this, you are especially in my thoughts because you gave birth to my mother 51 years ago tomorrow. Thank you for that; she is a great mom and now, grandmother. I love you and miss you everyday. May you rest in peace. I hope to see you again someday. Love, your granddaughter Holly
