Edward S. Pfeifer, 85, was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on August 13, 1929. Edward passed away on June 13, 2015 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Elkton, Maryland.
Edward worked as a truck driver and in his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had two beloved collies named, Sable One and Sable Two. The family considered these dogs to be a part of their family. Additionally, he was a member of the QB Club, and the Rifle Association (NRA). He also had a large collection of tools and enjoyed watching old movies. His family referred to him as “The Mechanic”.
Not only did Edward have his truck driver’s license, but he also had his private pilot’s license and owned two planes, motorcycles, and a boat.
Edward and his loving wife, Betty Pfeifer were married for 60 years and soon to be celebrating their 61st anniversary on June 19th. Edward’s loving family consisted of his two daughters: Cheryl McGrady of Elkton, MD and Toni Ross and her husband William of Elkton, MD. He had two grandchildren: Daniel McGrady, Jr. and Sydney Ross.
Edward was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Lillian Pfeifer, brother, Joseph Pfeifer, stepfather, Harry Cerbie, and granddaughter, Meghan McGrady.
Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
