Edward “Denny” Dennis Clark, age 84, of Conowingo, MD, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026. He was born on December 24, 1941, in Baltimore, MD to the late Phillip Douglas Clark and Mary (Brown) Thomas.
Denny lived a life defined by service, dedication, and a love for bringing joy to others.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for five years. As a plank owner aboard the historic aircraft carrier USS Enterprise, he was part of the original crew when the ship was first commissioned. During his service, he stood watch during the tense days of the Cuban Missile Crisis, contributing to a pivotal moment in world history with courage and commitment.
Following his military service, Denny continued his hardworking spirit as a proud member of Local 557 Freight Drivers, where he built lasting friendships and earned the respect of his colleagues through dedication and integrity.
Beyond his work and service, Denny will be especially remembered for his vibrant personality and generous heart. He had a special talent for entertaining as an Elvis impersonator, bringing smiles to countless faces as he performed at local nursing homes and community events. Whether dressed in jumpsuit and sideburns or simply sharing a laugh, Denny found joy in lifting others’ spirits and spreading happiness wherever he went.
Denny’s life was one of honor, service, and song. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Denny is survived by his son, Michael Clark and his wife, Kathy; grandchildren: Gage Clark, Kimberly Anderson, Brian Colby, Thomas Madron III, and Nicolas Madron; 9 great-grandchildren, Sister in Law, Maxine Kryger, and niece, Michelle Pierson. In addition to his parents, Denny is preceded in death by his wife, Francis Kathryn Clark.
