Connor James Black, age 24 of North East, MD, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017. He was born February 28, 1993 to Kenneth and Cheryl L. (Murray) Black in Newark, DE.
Connor was a Warehouse Associate at the Herr’s plant in Nottingham, PA. He was a Life Scout where he enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. Connor was devoted to his family, and especially loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He loved the beach, 4-wheelers, and motorcycles and most importantly, he loved his family.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth and Cheryl, Connor is survived by his brother, Zackery Black (Hope Wood-Boykin); nieces and nephews, Christian, Kaylynn, Tanner and Kylee, all of North East, MD; grandparents, Rick and Janice Marshall of Newport, TN; grandparents Wally and Linda Murray of Elkton, MD; and many extended family and friends. Connor was preceded in death by his uncles; Ted Black and David Murray; great-grandparents, Jack Mahala and Blanche Slagle; and great-grand parents, Paul and Texie Murray.
Services for Connor will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2017 at the R.T. Foard Funeral Home in Rising Sun, where family and friends may visit starting at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Zackery Black” to help with funeral expenses and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911 P.O. Box 248.
