George “Clint” Corder of Newark, DE, age 56, passed away on November 26, 2019. Clint was born March 7, 1963 in Long Branch, NJ to the late George Ray Corder and Peggy A. (Collins) Roberts.
Clint worked for Chrysler for over 20 years. Clint had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back. He was a real ladies man (in his own mind) and a self-professed mama’s boy. Clint was an avid Harley enthusiast and a live music junky. Another love of his was cooking and his mac n’ cheese was the best. He also loved spending his time fishing.
Clint is survived by his son, Kevin Corder; daughter, Heather Kruzienski; siblings: Don Roberts, Linda Harmon (Mike), Virginia Ward (Roy), Tom Roberts (Alisa), Brian Roberts (Shari), Darren Corder (Suzyn Barton-Corder), Stacey Tompkins, Dana Pike (Lawrence), Christopher Armstrong (Nicole); father, Carl Roberts; lifelong best friend, Mark Mauthe and umpteen nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family and countless friends. Along with his parents, Clint is preceded in death by his brother, David Roberts.
A celebration of Clint’s life will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 West Main Street, Newark, DE 19711 where friends and family may visit starting at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made payable to “St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital” and send in care of the funeral home.
