Charles Steele originally of Newark DE passed on July, 24th 2020 in Wilmington NC.
Charlie was born on April 1, 1952 the son of Renee and Vernon Steele. Charlie grew up in Newark Delaware and graduated from Newark High School before relocating to Wilmington NC where he laid his roots for most of his adult life.

Charlie was a talented musician who enjoyed playing the guitar and writing songs. He spent his days volunteering for the Salvation Army in an attempt to help others.

Charlie is proceeded in death by his Mother, Renee Steele, Father, Vernon Steele, Sister, Kathy Steele and daughter Sarah Jo. He is survived by his daughter Kelly Canning (Mike) and son Bobby Steele. In addition he leaves behind a grandson, Colin Keith; Sisters Virginia (Bob) Lanczkowski, Lisa (Rich) Refner, Janice (Richard) McMillan, and Jane Satterfield. He will continue to be remembered by his long term girlfriend Shelly Wilkerson.
