August 24, 1942 - February 11, 2019

Carolyn Compton, 76, of Newark, DE left this world on the morning of February 11, 2019.

We are sure Carolyn(Mom) is walking hand in hand with her beloved Dave(Dad), whom she dearly missed. Carolyn deeply missed her mother Mae, sisters Nancy and Linda, dear cousins and friends that passed before her. Carolyn enjoyed reading good books, driving just for the fun of driving, spending long hours at the beach, playing cards, and people. Mom was always making new friends. When Mom hosted a get together, you were always glad you came. Carolyn was a gracious hostess and had a classy way of making things look beautiful.

Carolyn is survived by her 3 children Tanya(Dennis, Zach, Jake, Katherine), David(Jeanette, Harrison(Jessica), Garrett), Brian(Alicia, River, Cole), her niece Kelly(Bill, Brennan, Kayden) and Nephew Billy.

We, her children, grandchildren, family and friends will miss her. “Rest in peace Mom.”

In keeping with the wishes of our mother, there will be no funeral services.

There will be a celebration of Mom’s life held at her daughter’s home date to be Announced
