Caro Inez Groux, 67, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away December 18, 2013 at Calvert Manor Healthcare Center. A lifelong resident of Cecil County, Inez was born on June 23, 1948, the daughter of the late William Henry and Branton (Clark) Crigler.
She was a graduate of Rising Sun High School and during her lifetime was employed at Calvert Manor Healthcare Center and at W.L. Gore and Associates. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, music and had a beautiful garden of which she lovingly tended and was a source of pride and enjoyment. Halloween was her favorite holiday and she enjoyed the love of her pets over the years. She will ever be known for her quick wit and engaging personality.
Inez is survived by her brother, William Henry Crigler, Jr. and his wife Colleen of Rising Sun, her sister Betty Campbell of Colora, MD; nephews Daniel Campbell of Oxford, PA, and John Campbell of Colora; a niece Patricia Guns of Rising Sun; a great niece Krysta Guns of Rising Sun; and a half nephew, Wilson E. Crigler, Jr. of Virginia. She was preceded in death by her half-brother Wilson E. Crigler.
A service honoring Inez’s life will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911 beginning at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor payable to American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association and mailed to the funeral home.
