Caleb Luiz Rojas, age 36, of North East, MD, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at his home in North East, MD. He was born on August 21, 1979 in Brooklyn, NY, to Jose Luiz Rojas and Leanna Hoy Burnett.
Caleb worked as an electrician in the construction trades. He enjoyed the outdoors, from camping and hiking, snowboarding and tubing, to a leisurely game of disc golf through many of the areas public parks, he was at peace with nature. Quite the actor, Caleb enjoyed the Fall Halloween season, and dressed up as a vampire, to the delight of the kids and friends. He served many years at the Horror Trail in Chesapeake City, to benefit the local fire company. He also enjoyed video games and playing many different board games with his family and friends. His greatest joy came from just being with his family and friends, sharing laughs and telling stories.
He is survived by his mother, Leanna Burnett of Elkton, MD; his sister, Alicia Rojas, of AL; his children, Layla Rojas, Astoria Rojas, and Alexander Rojas: his nephew Kai; and numerous friends and relatives whom he loved and will miss him dearly.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921. I only met Caleb a handful of times, but he was awesome to be around and a lot of fun to hang out with. God bless you Caleb, I hope you're up in heaven tubing down a river and singing songs of Redemption. Also I hope you get an ace in every game of Frisbee Golf up there.
