Dale, you were my onery brother-in-law, and you always made me feel special, because I am Karen's big Sis. You worked on my cars more times than I have fingers! I loved how you looked up to my Dad. And I felt as if you were taking care of us for Daddy. I will miss you.

You can't call me brother until you earn it, Fingers earned it a solid Brother noon one can deny. The missing finger was stuck in his nose. Peaches,Dozer, Kerstin,Laura, and Tammy my heart breaks for you. As always nothing but love for a brother, nothing but love.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Thinking of you and your precious family today Karen. Praying God's peace over all of you and that you feel the comfort and healing of all the prayers being lifted up for you since last Thursday. Dale was clearly a man who cherished his family and his country and we are all forever grateful for his service. He may not be here on this earth but he is forever in your hearts and in the memories he leaves you with. God bless you all in this and all others.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Dale's family. We met as kids in Kansas and continued our friendship over the years, crossing paths in the Army, Maryland guard and the internet. What a wonderful sense of humor and kind spirit. Rest in Peace old friend.
Elizabeth Holl-Flaharty left a message on April 27, 2015:
After 29 years, God brought an amazing friendship back to us. I wish we could have seen each other once more, and have that great blue crab he always talked about. He helped me put my marriage back together, listened to my whining and tears, encouraged me far beyond my expectations. Not many people knew this but I loved him like a brother, he told me once I was like the little sister he never had. My heart aches for Karen, Laura, Tammy, and Calvin. He talked about you guys all the time and how much he loved you and was proud of you. I still have his emails saved in a folder and will read them from time to time. One of my favorites was when he told me that Laura was pregnant, he said ssshhhhh, don't tell anyone, it's early, but I'm going to be a grandpa! He loved his family so much, I could hear the sparkle in his eye when he talked about you. I can't believe I'll not hear his chipper voice on the phone again encouraging me to keep going, keep being faithful. My only comfort is that one day I'll see him in heaven, don't know how much he talked about God with anyone else, but we talked about God a lot and I know Dale is in heaven taking care of my Harley dog and many others, and someday I'll see him again, for now he will be our guardian angel. Love and prayers to all his family.

I know Dale "fingers" through the Warrior MC. He was one of the most dedicated members the Warrior's have ever had. He was always there for anyone who needed a helping hand. Even when he wasn't feeling well his self. He would always come to the club House to fix what was broke, even when his own home had broken things that needed fixing. ( Karen would say)..lol... Fingers wore his heart on his sleeve, and I personally, will never forget his giveness and his sense of humor...... He will always have a special place in my heart
Fern Kissel left a message on April 26, 2015:
Dale, even though we don't see each other, you were a valuable part of this family! You will be missed terribly! Blessings to Karen and your Children and grandchildren. You once told me "you are my second mother" I took that as a compliment. Thank you Dale. My God receive you into his kingdom! You will be missed! Love, Fern
