















Bernard Russell Cundiff, Jr., age 76, of Rising Sun, MD passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016. He was born on November 25, 1939 in Bedford, VA to the late Bernard Russell, Sr. and Gaynelle (Fulton) Cundiff.
He was a truck driver, delivering gas for Sunoco for many years until his retirement. He served as member of the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun, where he was a life member. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post 194.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn; sister, Marilyn Patterson and her husband Bill of Bedford, VA and Judy Cundiff Philo and her boyfriend Russ Jordan of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Janice Cundiff Wagner and Norma Jean Cundiff Reid.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the “Community Fire Company of Rising Sun” sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home; 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
