Ben Sexton Sr. (Pop) of Perryville, Md, age 80, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, May 15, 2020. Ben was born on August 20, 1939 in Princeton, WV to the late Lester Felix Sexton and Etta (Wagner) Sexton.
Ben was a brick mason for 46 years. He loved rock and tuna fishing, turkey shoots, bowling, watching sports and Nascar racing. He was a huge fan of the New York Giants and Yankees. He will also be remembered for his sayings such as “I’ll give you a quarter if you scratch my back”….if this were true we’d all be rich, or “I’ll dance barefoot at your wedding if you……” and he has been known to have to do just that.
