Barbara Faye Peter of Fairborn, OH, age 79, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018. She was born on May 6, 1939 in Westerville, OH to the late Kenneth Cromwell and Dorothy Faye (Pennell) Snouffer.

Barbara had a talent for creating beautiful artwork and she especially enjoyed drawing. She loved her family very much. Barbara’s greatest pleasure was found in spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her son, Michael Peter (Kathy), two daughters: Lori Kaine and Aimee Baker (Darrel); ten grandchildren: Katelyn (Joe), Michael, Rickie (Netta), Faye (David), Katie, Stacey, Darlene, Rachael, Emily and Lizzie; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and her sister, Jo Ann Edwards.

Including her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, William Peter; two sisters: Mary Alice Short and Jewel Dixon and her brother, Dallas Snouffer.

A family directed memorial service will be held at 5:30pm on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the Bel Air Church of the Nazarene, 2430 Conowingo Rd., Bel Air, MD 21015; where family and friends may begin visiting at 5pm.
