Anita Mae Butterfield, age 82, of Annville, PA passed away on July 12, 2018. Anita was born in Los Angeles, CA on August 10, 1935.
Anita was a member of the Lifeway Church in Lebanon PA, she was a person of strong faith and loved the Lord. She was a very positive person always looking at the world through rose colored glasses. She was generous and giving, loved all people and was always kind, of which will be her legacy. Anita enjoyed spending time with her family and playing scrabble “known as the Scrabble Queen”.
She is survived by her daughters, Laurie Goetchius (Steve) of Conowingo, MD, Vanessa Warren (Stephen) of Denton, TX and Lydia Nimon (James) of Lebanon, PA; son, Devin Butterfield (Diane) of Paradise, PA; brothers, Harold Calkins (Betty) of Coconut Creek, FL and Merle Calkins (Kaye) of Nixa, MO; sister, Cynthia Delesie (Stephen) of Mission Viejo, CA; 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Butterfield; son, Ralph Butterfield and her parents, Ralph & Esther Calkins.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, pay kindness forward.
