Andrew N. Abel, “Pops”, age 62, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017. Born December 26, 1954 in Baltimore, MD, Pops was the son of the late Arnold T. “Ted” Abel, Sr. and late Marie Kathrine (Bielenberg) Abel.
Pops is survived by his son, Adam Michael Abel and his wife, Tammy of North East, MD; daughter, Allisha Kristen Ebersole and her husband, Jake of Red Lion, PA; brothers: Arnold T. Abel, Jr. of Owings Mills, MD and Alfred Abel of Baltimore, MD; and one grandson, Justin Ebersole.
Including his parents, Pops was preceded in death by his son, Andrew N. Abel, Jr., and his wife, Martha Jane Abel.
A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 24 Cameron Rd., North East, MD 21901. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Pops’ honor can be made payable to “Bethel Lutheran Church” and send in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, PO Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
