Krissy is from Berks County, PA, and spent most of her adult life in Lancaster County, PA. Boating and the Chesapeake Bay brought her to reside in North East, MD in 2018. Krissy is an accomplished Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of nursing experience. Krissy completed her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1999 from Alvernia College and her Bachelor Degree in Nursing in 2000. Driven by her passion for caring for people, Krissy earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Millersville University in 2004 graduating with honors. She became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2004. Her specialty areas are spine surgery and preventive health and wellness.

Her next season of life began in 2024 when she started working for R.T. Foard Funeral Home. She wants her continued purpose in life to provide care and empathy to help families during their time of need. In addition, she wants families to celebrate the lives of their loved ones with a personal touch.

Krissy wholeheartedly believes life can be short so live your life now, and have fun while doing it!

In her free time, Krissy enjoys anything that has to do with being on the water, boating and soaking up the sun. She loves spending her life with her wife Kara and their 2 golden retrievers.
