William “Jimmy” C. Frye

William C. Frye, known as Jimmy to his family and friends, age 71 of North East, MD, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026. Jimmy was born on December 24, 1954, in Hinton, WV to the late William Frye, and Marguerite (Romanello) Frye.

Jimmy worked at Elk Mills Stone Quarry for a few years before becoming a truck driver for Maryland Portable Concrete. He then went to work for County Concrete where he retired.

Jimmy liked to tinker with cars and spend time walking in the woods. But Jimmy loved taking care of his son and making money.  Jimmy was a dedicated worker; he worked hard his whole life.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by his siblings, Shirley Charles, James Adkins, Jackie Ayers, and Edward (Junior) Frye.

William is survived by his siblings, Bonnie Edney, Sarah Crawford, Robert Frye all of Elkton, MD, Rickie Frye from Ohio, and many nieces and nephews.

Jimmy has two sons, Glen Yarwood from MI, and James Kiebler, who lived with him and took care of him.

At the convenience of the family, services will be held privately.
