Walter Carl Smith, Jr., age 76, of Perryville, MD passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Elkton Care & Rehabilitation.
He was born on June 20, 1935 in Wythe, VA to the late Walter Carl Smith and Ethel Elizabeth Jones Smith.
Walter was a truck driver for many years and also served in the U S Navy. He was a very likeable person and was loved by all. Walter enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Smith of Cumberland, MD; brother, Robert W. Smith, Sr., of Elkton, MD; nephew, Walter James Smith of Port Deposit, MD and Robert W. Smith, Jr. of Elkton, MD; stepson, Mike Biggs of Cumberland, MD.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at R. T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A. 259 E. Main Street, Elkton MD where friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.
