Jerry, Terry and Dale- I'm very sad to hear about your mom's passing. Mrs. Hewlett was my 2nd mom growing up. Some of my best memories were going to Florida and Virginia Beach with your family. I thought your mom was the cool' mom doing things like getting on the CB and talking to truckers. My condolences to all of you.

I grew up just around the corner from E.C., Treva Lou, Dale, Terri and Jerry. Treva was one of my favorite people, she had to be to make up for E.C.'s gruffness. I leaned to love E.C. but never had to learn to love Treva Lou, it just came naturally, she was that loving and caring.

I consider Dale one of my brothers and feel his loss and also the joy of having known Treva for so many years. Here I sit spilling tears on my keyboard as I reminisce about all of the great times we had growing up in Christine Manor. Our world is truly diminished by Treva Lou's passing but so much better for her having been part of it.

You couldn't know Treva without loving her, she has that type of spirit.

Thank you for everything you did for us from the days of being our Cub Scout den mother to your final moment's, we'll miss you, remember you fondly and love you always.

We were able to talk on phone about 4 years ago and it was just like old times. She is unforgettable.

TERRI MY FRIEND & NEIGHBOR, I WAS AT A LOSS FOR WORDS TO SAY TO YOU WHEN I FOUND OUT AND I APOLOGIZE FOR THE DAY OR TWO DELAY IN GIVING MY CONDOLENCES ABOUT YOUR MOTHER BUT THE TRUTH IS I WANTED TO BE STRONG WHEN I SPOKE TO YOU, AND AGAIN I APOLOGIZE BECAUSE I WAS TOO EMOTIONAL AS SOON AS I HEARD YOUR VOICE AND COULD NOT HOLD BACK FROM CRYING WITH YOU AS WE TALKED WITH EACH OTHER. I MYSELF FACED THIS REALITY 6 YEARS AGO WITH MY MOTHER AND I PRAY FOR COMFORT FOR YOU AND ZACK AND YOUR FAMILY DURING YOUR TIME OF GRIEF. ED AND I ARE HERE AT ANY TIME IF YOU NEED TO REACH OUT TO US. GOD BLESS YOU.

I only knew Treva for a short time. Whenever we would meet in the Narthex of Elkton Presbyterian church, she always had a smile and loved to tease my husband. I will miss her smiling face. My prayers and thoughts are with Treva's family at this most difficult time.

Aunt Treva Lou, as we called her, was my only aunt. We did not see her often because of distance, but when we did it was as if we had just seen each other the day before. I would like to remind everyone how funny and witty she was. She came to visit us in our new home about two years ago and I will remember her laughter. She will be missed. Love you very much, Debbie
