Steven Ross Hardy

Steven Ross Hardy, age 66 of North East, MD passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 after his courageous battle with cancer. Born April 14, 1952 in Upland, PA, Steven was the son of the late Paul and Audrey Hardy.

Steven graduated from Chichester High School in 1970 and when on to attend Penn State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering. He worked as a computer engineer until his retirement. In his spare time he was very passionate about woodworking, boating and computers. He also enjoyed traveling to the Islands, taking road trips to the mountains and enjoying the scenic views. At heart, Steven was a simple man who took pleasure in the simple things that life had to offer.

Steven is survived by his loving wife of eleven years, Lucianna G. Hardy of North East, MD; three children: Joelle Elizabeth Hardy, Stephanie Jean Hardy and Robert Steven Hardy; four brothers: Paul Allen Hardy and his wife, Barbara of AR, Warren Dale Hardy and his wife, Joanne of Upper Chichester, PA, Leslie Hueber Hardy of Lower Chichester, PA and Arthur Hardy of Lower Chichester, PA; and his sister, Carol Hardy Seiler and her husband, David of Goldsboro, MD. Including his parents, Steven was also preceded in death by his brother, David Eugene Hardy.

Services will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Chapel in Elkton on Sunday,Nov. 18, 2018 at 2:00PM.
