Stephen O. Johnson, Age 99, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 22, 2016. Born on February 22, 1917, in Shamokin, PA, he was the son of Oscar L. Johnson and Eleanora Johnson.
He was employed and retired from General Motors after 30 plus years of service. He was very proud of his consistent work attendance record without missing one day.
Johnson was a faithful member of the Rising Sun Church of the Nazarene.
Steve loved all kinds of landscaping and gardening and enjoyed sharing his harvest with friends, neighbors and church family.
Survivors include three daughters Eileen Eshelman, Sellersville, PA, Jeanette Burke, Wilmington, DE, and Marianne Felty, (Bud) Galena, MD. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and fourteen great- grandchildren and seven great- great -grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Grace in 2001 and a daughter Virginia in 2002.

I wanted to say how truly sorry I am for the loss of you Dad. I grew up across the road & have many fond memories of visits with him. I will forever remember his beautiful flowers & his gardens, especially the ones for Virginia & Mrs. Johnson. He was never too busy to have a chat & a walk around his yard. May he rest in peace with Miss. Grace & his daughter.
