Sindy Alaine Condon, age 57, of Rising Sun, MD passed away on March 17, 2019. She was born in Chester, PA on January 26, 1962 to the late Thomas and Ruth McAbee.

Sindy was raised in Boothwyn Upper Chichester, PA and was a graduate of Chichester High School class of 1979. She was also a graduate of Delhi University class of 1996. In life, Sindy was known as a deeply devoted Christian. She was passionate about her work at Incyte Research where she worked as a cancer scientist. For fourteen years, Sindy worked in Wilmington, DE and Boston, MA for AstraZeneca. She loved camping and other activities with her family. “Young Living Essential Oils” was a holistic healthy life-style that she was passionate about. Sindy was a certified Aroma Freedom Technique Practitioner.

Sindy is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Scott T. Condon of Rising Sun, MD; son, Shane S. Condon of Rising Sun, MD; daughter, Alaine T. Chaby and husband Travis of Rising Sun, MD; brother, Tom McAbee and wife Olga of South Hampton, NY; sister, Shelley Evans and her husband Donald of Orangeville, PA; grandchildren, Silas Condon and Kyun Chaby; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Sindy Alaine Condon’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911. Family and friends are being called to visit on Saturday one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to the “Young Living Foundation” and sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
