Shannon Leigh Taylor

Shannon Leigh Taylor, 51, of Dover, Delaware, passed away on June 4, 2026. 

Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Shannon was the daughter of the late Kenneth Taylor and Helen Rhodes. 

Shannon worked as a nurse’s aide, dedicating herself to caring for others with compassion and kindness. She enjoyed shopping and took great pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming home. Shannon will be remembered for her fierce spirit, her courage, and her unwavering authenticity. She was loving, strong-willed, and unapologetically herself. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her youngest son, creating memories that will be cherished forever. 

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 

In addition to her parents, Shannon was preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Taylor. 

She is survived by her children, Brandon C. Taylor and his wife, Morgan; Kalista Wegman Tomczak and her husband, Brett Tomczak; and Tyler J. Rostocki; her beloved grandchildren, Aria, Demi, Roman and Josi; her siblings, Tinamarie Reamy and her husband, Jason, Mark Taylor and his wife, Kelly, and Kenny Taylor; as well as many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory. 

All services will be held privately.
