Sean Ryan Main, age 39, of Newark, DE passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022. He was born on January 7, 1983, in Frederick, MD to the late Millard “Buddy” Main Jr. and Lisa (Brust) Hammond.
Sean worked as a maintenance technician at the Villas of Whitehall in Newark, DE and loved helping the seniors who lived there. He played football in high school and graduated in Middletown, MD. In his spare time Sean coached little league in Newark, DE. Some of his hobbies include fantasy football, golfing, fishing, gardening, and canning vegetables or cheering on his favorite football team the 49ers.
Sean is survived by his loving wife, Ashley Main of Newark, DE; 2 daughters: Ava McGaha of, PA and Mackenzie Main of Newark, DE; parents, Lisa Hammond and step-father Bob Hammond of Mullins, SC; 1 sister Misty Crist-Slaughter (Eric) of Walkersville, MD; in-laws, Mark and Karen Parenteau; 1 niece Hali; 4 nephews: Michael, Brandon, Ryan and Aaron; as well as many brother in-laws, sister in-laws, aunts and uncles.
A celebration of Sean’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday July 17, 2022, at R.T. Foard and Jones, 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711, friends and family may begin visiting at 1:00 PM. To send online condolences please visit www.rtfoard.com.
