I knew Ruth Anne and Bill for many years when my late husband Joel and I danced with them at the Two by Fours Square Dance Club. They hosted a number of picnics and pig roasts for the club at their home in Newark and we also saw them at their jobs at Agway. We enjoyed seeing them at square dance festivals and went to after-parties and restaurants with them. They were unfailingly kind and helpful. I'm so sorry that Ruth Anne developed dementia -- I'm helping another friend now who is developing the same illness. It's so hard on them and on their families. I miss Ruth Anne and Bill, but I'm sure not nearly so much as you miss them. Please accept my condolences on your loss and the pain I'm sure you've experienced as you have seen your mom go downhill. It's a terrible disease.
