Ruby M. Bib of Newark, DE, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Ruby was born on October 19, 1938 in Twin Oaks, PA to the late Reuben Heath and Viola (Hill) Heath.
Ruby worked as a clerk in Veteran’s Administration and had also worked as a secretary in doctor’s and lawyer’s offices. She was a great home maker and mother and was a kind person. Ruby loved to sew and cook, and her cinnamon buns and chocolate cake will especially be remembered.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Brenda Tedesco (James) of North East, MD; son, William Mitchell (Carol) of Magnolia, DE; son, Scott Bibbs (Patty) of Newark, DE; daughter, Sandy Huddleston of Landenberg, PA; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Rachel Zane; 4 nieces and 2 nephews. In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, John Bib; daughter, Charlotte Crisp and sisters, Hilda and Sherry.
A celebration of Ruby’s life will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711 where family and friends may start visiting at 9:30 a.m. Burial at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be held immediately after. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to “Sunday Breakfast Mission” or “Bayada Hospice” and sent in care of the funeral home.
