Ronnie Guy Johnson (“Bud”), age 55, of Quarryville, PA passed away suddenly on Friday, July 13, 2018. Born July 18, 1962 in West Grove, PA, Bud is the son of Lorrain (Lipford) Johnson and the late Ferd Ace Johnson.
Bud enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisher. His most treasured time was that spent with his family especially his grandchildren.
Including his mother, Lorrain Johnson, Bud is survived by his wife, Janice McCoy of Quarryville, PA; seven sons: Ronnie Shane Johnson and his wife, Amber of Kirkwood, Pa, Kacey G. Johnson of Milwaukee, WI, Derrick Johnson of Milwaukee, WI, Perry C. Johnson and his wife, Jessica of Milwaukee, WI, Richard A. Hughes and his wife, Amanda of Peach Bottom, PA, Nicholas Hughes of Peach Bottom, PA and Joshua Hughes of Peach Bottom, PA; 4 daughters: Jennifer Cooper McDaniels of Milwaukee, WI, Shannah Cooper of Peach Bottom, PA, Crystal Ruiz and her husband, Randy of Kirkwood, PA and Melinda Hughes of Peach Bottom, PA. He was also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A service will be held in Bud’s honor at 2PM on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 150 Downin Ln, Port Deposit, MD 21904, where family and friends may visit beginning at 1PM. Burial will follow at Oxford Cemetery.
