Roger Lee White, age 76, went to be with his Lord Thursday, December 13, 2018. He was born November 16, 1942 in Tazewell County Virginia.

Roger was the 10th child born of 11 to the late James and Myrtle (Tuggle) White. He worked for Chrysler Corporation for 33 years in skilled trades as a carpenter, until retiring in 2006.

Roger is survived by two daughters, Sherry White and Karen Knorr; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces; nephews; and brothers, Jack (Barbara), Bill (Sharon), and Jim (Janis). In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by two sisters, Roberta Hamm and Edna McFarland; and five brothers, Claude, June, Joe, Kenneth, and Arnold.

A celebration of Roger’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 West Main Street, Newark, DE 19711. Family and friends are being called to visit from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Burial will follow the service at Kemblesville United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1772 New London Road, Kemblesville, PA 19347. The family would like to specially thank Jackie Letterman for her care and advice.
