Robert John Nicholson

Robert John Nicholson, age 77 of Red Bank, NJ passed away on June 21, 2024 in Newark, DE. He was born on May 8, 1947 in Jersey City, NJ to the late James and Gertrude (Hartje) Nicholson.

Robert was a very gifted and talented man. He was always working on projects and trying to improve things. He had the skill of teaching himself to do anything. He could build, lay tile, and fix just about anything. Family was the most important thing to Robert. He was always there for his family and friends and was a great help to all. In his free time, Robert enjoyed reading and constantly educating himself. He was a proud US Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War from 1966-1968. He was a skilled engineer and worked at AT & T and Bell Labs for over 30 years.

Robert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rosemary Nicholson; children: David Nicholson and his wife, Christine and Jill Forcade and her husband, Michael; grandchildren: Samantha, Ryan and Tyler Nicholson and Ethan and Cole Forcade.

Services for Robert will be private.

Bobby introduced me to electronics was my best man and God Father to my son Michael. At family get togethers we would talk for hours about electronics and stories about Bell Labs and AT&T. You were a great husband to my sister and great father to David and Jill. Yiou are loved and missed🙏❤️🌹
