Reginald Hudson Durst, Jr., age 67, of Conowingo, MD, passed away on March 10, 2021. He was born on January 24, 1954 in Baltimore, MD to Barbara Ann (Colvin) Durst and the late Reginald Hudson Durst, Sr.
Reginald worked as a truck driver for forty years before retiring. He was a collector, who enjoyed collecting Hess trucks and coins. Reginald loved Nascar and took great joy in going to Dover Downs every year with his wife. He was able to experience going on a family cruise for eleven days in the Carribeans and loved every minute of time spent with his family. Reginald will be dearly missed by all who knew them.
Reginald is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Sandra Durst; daughters: Melissa Williams-Rogiers and her husband, Harkeem and Kristy Hyatt and her husband, Michael; grandchildren: Brandon Williams and Matthew Hyatt; and great-grandson, Brayden Wojcicki; two brothers; one sister; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Reginald’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Conowingo Baptist Church,151 Rock Springs Road, Conowingo, MD 21918 where friends and family may begin visiting at 1:00pm.

There are no words that can adequately describe the heartfelt sympathy we have for the Durst family, knowing that mere words no matter how sincerely uttered can ever replace the touch of a loving hand or the music of a voice now stilled. We do pray that the family can take solace in knowing that Reginald is at home with his Creator. We also pray that Reginald's family and friends may be drawn closer in our common sorrow to the Lord we serve. Fill our souls, we pray, with the light and comfort of Your presence. Reggie will be missed. In all the years I've known him, whenever his trucking job brought him to the area we lived in, he would stop to see us. He would stop in PA and visit Gary and me and years later when we came to Florida to live he would stop to see young Gary. I always appreciated that he kept the family connection. Sandy, Reggie will be miss by our entire family. He would often stop by to say hello to Bill & I when he could get close while on the road. He became a member of the family when I was 16 years old. When we invited him to Thanksgiving while stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA, he brought a bottle of wine and sent a thank you card. He never allowed any of the guys to swear in front of "the ladies". He would call just for a few minutes to say hello and catch up. He always asked about my mother & my family. He was a true friend. Then he added you & yours. When Bill & I married he became Bill's friend as well. Reggie's laughter was infectious & his sense of humor will be sorely missed. He was so ornery at times, but you had to love him.
