Raymond P. Lloyd, age 67, of Milton, DE, formerly of North Wilkesboro, NC, passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 11, 2017. Born on March 5, 1950 in Elkton, MD, he was the son of the late Howard and Eloise (Jones) Lloyd.
An avid hunter, Ray enjoyed hunting deer, turkey and waterfowl. He also loved fishing.
Ray is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Joyce A. Lloyd of Milton, DE; daughters: Kimberlee Lloyd of Elkton, MD, Kelly Lloyd of Charlestown, MD, and Kimberly Wetsel of Milton, DE; son, Randall O. Day and his wife, Heather, of Newark, DE; grandchildren: Jeffrey Justison, Kellen Justison, Keegan Hill, Elizabeth Reynolds, and Ethan Reynolds; brother, Larry Lloyd of Colorado; and nieces: Sandy Dunlap and family, Cindy Hammer and family, and Lee Lloyd and family.
A celebration of Ray’s life will be held at 1pm on Friday, November 17, 2017 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 318 George Street, Chesapeake City, MD 21915, where friends and family may visit beginning at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Temple University Hospital” or “Gift of Life Family House” and sent in care of the funeral home, PO Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
