Peter G. Scheri of Elkton, MD, originally of West New York, NJ, passed away on June 27, 2021. He was born on August 21, 1970 in Hoboken, NJ to the late Pete G. Scheri and Janet Louise (Weber) Scheri.
A lover of music, Peter enjoyed early rap, DJ mixing and breakdancing in his youth. Later, he liked to listen to heavy metal ranging from Kiss to Slayer. Peter also was a movie buff and loved to watch Star Wars and Sci-fi. He loved to cook and could prepare wonderful meals.
Peter leaves behind his two sisters: Kathleen Cantara and her husband, Harvey of Elkton, MD and Michelle Scheri of Coral Springs, FL; niece, Jennifer Finnegan; nephew, Mark Roglen both of Elkton, MD, close and beloved cousin, Delores DeLuise of West Palm Beach, FL, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, great nephew, and son, Aaron Guzman of Spring, TX.
In addition to his parents and grandparents, Peter was preceded in death by his brother, Marcantony Scheri and close and beloved Cousin, Anthony “Tony” DeLuise, who gave him the nickname “The Beep”.
Services for Peter will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
